Siena Villa at the Agriturismo is an original 30 x 30″ acrylic painting on a 1″ thick stretched canvas, inspired by Leslie Ehrin’s stay at a Tuscan agriturismo near Siena, Italy.

During her journey through Tuscany, Leslie was especially inspired by the carefully arranged vegetable gardens, colorful flowers, and the enormous poppies in the foreground. The orderly rows of plants and surrounding landscape became the focal point of this vibrant painting.

Using strong diagonal, horizontal, and vertical lines inspired by Cezanne, thick expressive paint reminiscent of Van Gogh, and a color palette influenced by the Impressionists, Leslie creates a bold and lively interpretation of the Tuscan countryside.

The painting can be purchased unframed or framed. A substantial hand-carved wooden frame can be added for an additional $1,000, while thinner-profile framing options may also be available. When framed, the overall dimensions are approximately 40 x 40″.
